〜限り (as far as / as long as / to the limit)
限り sets a limit: “as far as I know”, “as long as A holds”, or “to the utmost”.
私の知る限り、彼は来ません。
As far as I know, he is not coming.
ここにいる限り、安全です。
As long as you stay here, you are safe.
力の限り走りました。
I ran with all my strength.
ない限り is “unless”: 雨が降らない限り、試合は行います.
